Designing a logo was the initial stage in branding for the Brookhaven Neighborhood Association (BNA). Doris worked with BNA board members to define a personality for the logo and formulate the message that the board wanted to communicate through their logo. Read more about that process here.
A black and white version of the logo is pictured to the right. The color version is featured in the slider on this page.
Subdivision Entrance Sign
One of the first applications for the BNA logo was the installation of a subdivision entrance sign. Doris worked with Louisville Metro government and a sign company to design the handsome entrance sign located along Hillbrook Drive and Breckinridge Lane.
Doris created 3 pole banner designs for the Brookhaven Neighborhood Association. Neighborhood residents were given the opportunity to pick their favorite design by voting on the BNA Facebook page and voting at a quarterly neighborhood meeting. The banner featured in the slide show, at the top of this page, was the one chosen by the neighborhood. The banners mark neighborhood entrances and are hung throughout the neighborhood.
